Slow Hand Lyrics

As the midnight moon was driftin' through
The lazy sway of the trees
I saw the look in your eyes, looking into the night
Not seeing what you wanted to seeDarlin', don't say a word, I've already heard
What your body's sayin' to mine, You're tired of fast moves
You've got a slow groove on your mindYou want a man with a slow hand
You want a lover with an easy touch
You want somebody who will spend some time
Not come and go in a heated rush baby, believe me I understand
When it comes to love, you want a slow handOn shadowed ground, with no one around
And a blanket of stars in our eyes
Hey, we're drifting free, like two lost leaves
On the crazy wind of the nightDarlin', don't say a word, I've already heard
What your body's sayin' to mine, If you want all night
You know it's alright I've got timeYou've got a man with a slow hand
You've got a lover with an easy touch
You've got somebody who will spend some time
Not come and go in a heated rush baby, believe me I understand

When it comes to love, you want a slow handYou've got a lover with an easy touch
You've got somebody who will spend some time baby
Not come and go in a heated rush baby, believe me I understand

Conway Twitty (1 September 1933 – 5 June 1993), born Harold Lloyd Jenkins, was one of the United States' most successful artists of the 20th century. Twitty had the most singles (55) reach Number 1 on various national music charts. Conway Twitty's across the board totals were greater than that of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, and Garth Brooks. Most notably known as a country music singer, Twitty also enjoyed success in early Rock and Roll, R&B, and Pop music (among other genres). He teamed up with Loretta Lynn to form one of country music's most successful business partnerships.
