So Electric Lyrics

There was a fat one, tall one, skinny one, bald one
Every body's favorite lady
I've seen 'em on the tele with the '69 Chevy
But it's still mystifying to me, yeahI gotta phone my corporation
I gotta gain some inspiration
In this non-stop operation
Population, conversation
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeahWell there's a pink cat, blue cat, funny little stray cat
24 hours away, yeah
Shake a tambourine like you're whipping up a cream
There's a million ways to play it'Cause I don't know if I'm gonna make it
And I don't know if you can fake it
And I don't want you to rewind me
Don't erase me, just amaze me

Filtering classic British pop songwriting through an eclectic alternative-rock sensibility, the London quintet Bottlefly was founded in 1997 by vocalist Mark Arnell and keyboardist Richie Wermerling. The lineup was rounded out by guitarist Lizzard, bassist Lawrence Addison, and drummer Danny Martin, all former members of a previous Arnell-led band called the Velvet Dogs. Bottlefly's eponymous self-titled debut album was released in 2000, finding the band augmenting their sound with touches of ska, psychedelia, R&B, and electronic dance music.
