So I Can Take My Rest Lyrics

I'm tired to the bone
My back is to the wall
I've been on my own
So long I can't recallTake me in your arms tonight
Hold me to your breast
Tell me it will be alright
So I can take my rest
So I can take my restMaine to Mexico
Across the great divide
Through rain in snow
Oh, oh, I rideTake me in your arms tonight
Hold me to your breast
Tell me it will be alright
So I can take my rest
So I can take my restThe time for us is near
The lightning streaks the sky
The thunder in my ears
Echoes with goodbyeTake me in your arms tonight

Hold me to your breast
Tell me, it will be alright
So I can take my rest
So I can take my rest
