So This Is Love Lyrics

In my heart there are many wounds
Love had a bad reputation
I started thinkin' I was meant to lose
Now you're a total revelationSo this is love, this is what it's all about
So this is love, I'm glad I finally found out
You lift me up with just one touchYou treat me like a lady
So this is love, so this is love
Oh baby now, oh yeah
(So this is love)
Oh yeahI've had my feel of feelin' blue
Hangin' out with the wrong crowd now
I've got a different point of view
From up here in the cloudsSo this is love, this is what it's all about
So this is love, I'm glad I finally found out
You lift me up with just one touchYou treat me like a lady
So this is love, so this is love
Oh baby now, oh yeah
(So this is love)

Oh yeahThe way you hold me, I know the feelin' is real
I can't explain it, but I like what I feelSo this is love, so this is love
Oh baby nowOh yeah, oh yeah
(So this is love)
Oh yeah, oh yeah
(So this is love)
Oh yeah, oh yeah
(So this is love)

Early life Childhood & teen years
Charlotte Denise McClain was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1956. Originally named Charlotte, "Charly" was given her masculine moniker by neighborhood friends in Memphis, and she also used it when she started playing hotel lounges. When Epic Records decided it sounded catchier than Charlotte, it became a permanent professional banner. [1] McClain's father had tuberculosis when she was eight, and, since she was under age for visitation rights at the hospital, she had to communicate with him through a tape recorder. [2]
