Soldier's Last Breath Lyrics

They've been fighting that war too long*
Won't you send them boys back home
They've been away
From the ones they love too longI wonder if they know how that feels
Up on capitol hill, to hear your best friend say
Man, I'm scared to death
Just another day as a Soldier draws his last breathThru the eyes of the wound did you see
on the front lines for you and me
They pay a cost with everyday there's someone lostWear and tear don't show
Cause every good Soldier knows
There's no room, no room for second best
Just another day as a Soldier draws his last breath
Thru the eyes of the wound did you see
On the front lines for you and me
