Solitude Lyrics

In my solitude
You haunt me
With dreadful ease
Of days gone by
In my solitude
You taunt me
With memories
That never die
I sit in my chair
And filled with despair
There's no one could be so sad
With gloom everywhere
I sit and I stare
I know that I'll soon go mad
In my solitude
I'm afraid
Dear Lord above

Send back my love
I sit in my chair
And filled with despair
There's no one could be so sad
With gloom everywhere
I sit and I stare
I know that I'll soon go mad
In my solitude
I'm afraid
Dear Lord above
Send me back my love

This is a great 30s-era Jazz band. Listening to this band would be like listening to Al Bowlly singing with Ray Noble and His Orchestra if only high-definition recording equipment had been around 70+ years ago. I've read somewhere that Her Majesty is not displeased whenever she hears the Pasadena Roof Orchestra. The band's website is www.pasadena.co.uk
