Somebody Nobody Loves Lyrics

I'm somebody nobody loves
Oh me, oh my, my, my
I'm somebody nobody loves,
I wonder why, why, why
Although I know it's most alarmin'
I've prayed on bended knee
For that certain gay prince charmin'
Who was meant for me
I've got to find me a somebody soon
Or else I'll die, die, die,
I'd take the man in the moon
If he'd give me a try
I'm just a lonesome Cinderella
That romance passes by
I'm somebody nobody loves, oh me oh my.

Benny Goodman led his first band in 1934 and began a few-month stint at Billy Rose's Music Hall, playing Fletcher Henderson's arrangements along with key band members Bunny Berigan and Gene Krupa . This gave it an accessibility that appealed to American audiences on a wide scale. America began to hear Benny 's band when he secured a weekly engagement for his band on NBC's radio show "Let's Dance," which was broadcast coast-to-coast. The new swing music had the kids dancing when, on August 19th, 1935, Benny's band played McFadden's Ballroom in Oakland, California.
