Somebody Waits Lyrics

Now I think I know why
You sounded so strange on the telephone
Well, its hard when you discover
What keeps you going, keeps you all aloneOur dream's so real
You thought the smoke might never clear
And you hide it all behind
Endless cigarettes and tearsSomebody waits for the time
I know it never comes
You get yourself so high
Then you come down feeling blueOne day youll wake up
And realize you've had enough
The thousand shining moments
Waiting just to happen to you, to you, to youWait until youre stronger
Theres no sense starting when you're down so low
Well, it takes the heart a little longer
To see the point in finally letting goYou lose your touch
Out there standing in the rain
When its all too much

You feel like slipping down againSomebody waits for the time
I know it never comes
You get yourself so high
Then you come down feeling blueOne day you'll wake up
And realize you've had enough
There's a thousand shining moments
Waiting just to happen to you, oh, to you, to youSomebody waits for the time
I know it never comes
You get yourself so high
Then you come down feeling blueOne day you'll wake up
And realize you've had enough
Theres a thousand shining moments
I hope someday they happen to you, oh, to you, oh, to you
