Something To Do Lyrics

give me something to sing about
not every thing you need
hey we can work it out
just you wait and see
but I don't really need this, no way
and I don't really want this anyway
I just wanna be
driving in my car
crank the radio
I don't care at all
it's something to do
lying on my back
counting all the stars
I don't care at all
it's something, something to do
get everything I want
get everything I need
so much for invitations

I'm talking to myself
talking back to me
in all these conversations

In the spring of '97, Kristie Stremel left Tri-Star/Columbia recording artists Frogpond to pursue her own vision of pop/rock. Kristie asked Rob VanBiber to join in her quest when Rob performed an impromptu audition in a local area music shop. Former TV FIFTY frontman Byron Huhmann took over original bassist Jamey Wheeler's spot in March of '98.
In January of '98 Exit 159 released their debut EP Lost On Earth (Don't Touch Me Records) to critical raves, and the two singles, "What Gives?" and "Short Ride Down", got regular rotation on KLZR 105.
