Something from Nothing Lyrics

This gotta be the first time i really see
how much you mean to me this gotta be the first time i really know
how much i ought showIf i could give you something from empty space
i would use my voice to put a smile on your face
making something from nothing is what i do
and i will give it to you
and now i'll give it to youThis gotta be the first time i really am
what you think of me
this gotta be the first time i really feel that this love could be realIf i could give you something from empty space
i would use my voice to put a smile on you face
making something from nothing is what i do
and i will give it to you
and i will give it to you
and i will give it to you
(you know i'll give it to you...)
and i'm gonna give it to you
i will give it to you
and now i'll give it to youits so hard to describe exactly what i feel indside

like im filled with stars
letting go of time
accepting the changes
so the world can stay the same
forcing myself not to be playing games
its so hard to describe exactly what i feel indside
like im filled with stars
letting go of time
accepting the changes
so the world can stay the same
forcing myself not to be playing games
cause we are used to use each other
and i am used to
fool my loversIf i could give you something from empty space
i would use my voice to put a smile on you face
making something from nothing is what i do
and i am gonna give it to you
you know i give it to youIf i could give you something from empty space
i would use my voice to put a smile on you face
making something from nothing is what i do

Take a look under Sydney four-piece Dropmotive’s list of influences and you’ll find one band: Dropmotive. This isn’t a case of egos standing in the way of the tipping of hats to those who have come before, but rather a statement of how the band wishes to carve a niche as nothing more than its own brand of emotionally heavy melodic rock. In 2003, Dropmotive announced their arrival with the release of the independent EP In Dilation (produced by Andrew Beck). The band supported this EP by treading the boards and building a healthy and loyal following courtesy of numerous headlining shows.
