Sometimes I'm Happy Lyrics

Got to give a little, take a little
And let your poor heart break a little
That's the story of, that's the glory of loveYou got to laugh a little, cry a little
Until the clouds roll by a little
That's the story of, that's the glory of loveAs long as there's the two of us
We've got the world and all it's charms
And when the world is through with us
We've got each other's armsGot to win a little, lose a little
Always have the blues a little
That's the story of, that's the glory of love

Benny Goodman, born Benjamin David Goodman, (May 30, 1909 – June 13, 1986) was an American jazz musician, known as King of Swing, Patriarch of the Clarinet, The Professor, and Swing's Senior Statesman. Goodman was regarded by some as a demanding taskmaster, by others an arrogant and eccentric martinet. Many musicians spoke of The Ray, Goodman's trademark glare that he bestowed on a musician who failed to perform to his demanding standards.
