Half Shark Half Jesus hails from Eugene, Oregon. They are Jennifer Oberst on vocals/guitars, Chris Lupton on guitars, Cory Davis Vance on bass guitar, and Joe Ricken on drums. After talking about forming a band for over a year together, Chris and Jennifer finally went into the garage and started jamming. It was immediately evident that the pair had an interesting musical chemistry, combining Chris' post-punk guitar bent with Jennifer's eclectic taste due to years of overexposure to all genres of music.
