Southern Skies Lyrics

I wanna see the full moon, in the southern sky. I wanna take you back to, back to when we felt alive. And I dont know why, And I dont know how to say.
Come with me tonight, we'll fall without a fight. I wanna make a toast to the Love that never dies.
I wanna see the world through, through someone else's eyes. And be swept away, For just one more day.
I'll say, "I'm done with running away."Burn me.
You go and burn me down.
I need you now. Turn me around.
Oh you got me. Yeah you got me.
It's safe to say, "Im done with running away."If I had it my way, we'd put the past beside. We'd take the boat to the bay, leaving the whole world behind. As the seas takes hold, of our tales untold.
I'd say, "Come with me tonight, we'll fall without a fight." If your scared it's okay, If you leave it's fine.
If you must runaway, leaving us to wonder why. If we had more time, i'd find the lungs to say, "I'm done with running away."Burn me.
You go and burn me down.
I need you now. Turn me around.
Oh you got me. Yeah you got me.
It's safe to say, "Im done with running away."The fire hits my tounge, The lightning starts to fill my lung. And the words i meant to say are pouring out, One by one.
I've been searching long for something real - for a way to feel just strong enough to say, "I'm done with running away."Burn me.
You go and burn me down.
I need you now. Turn me around.
Oh you got me. Yeah you got me.

It's safe to say - Burn me.
You go and burn me down.
I need you now. Turn me around.
Oh you got me. Yeah you got me.
It's safe to say, "Im done with running away."
