Spaceman Lyrics

Pungent smells, they consummate my home
Beyond the black horizon, trying to take control
See my girl, she shivers in her bones
The sun and the zenith's rising, trying to take us allThere's a fire between us
So where is your God?
There's a fire between usI can't get off the carousel
I can't get off the carousel
I can't get off the carousel
I can't get off this worldThe sickening taste, homophobic jokes
Images of fascist votes
Beam me up 'cos I can't breatheSpaceman, I've always wanted you to go
In to space, man
Intergalactic ChristCan't get off, can't get off
Can't get off, can't get off
Can't get off, can't get off
Can't get off, can't get offIt's time to terminate the great wide world
Morbid fascination, television takes control
Decimation, different races fall

Electronic information tampers with your soulThere's a fire between us
So where is your God?
There's a fire between usI can't get off the carousel
I can't get off the carousel
I can't get off the carousel
I can't get off this worldThe sickening taste, homophobic jokes
Images of fascist votes
Beam me up 'cos I can't breatheSpaceman, I've always wanted you to go
Into space, man
Intergalactic ChristBabylon Zoo, Babylon Zoo
Babylon Zoo, Babylon Zoo
Babylon Zoo, Babylon Zoo
Babylon Zoo, Babylon ZooSpaceman, I always wanted you to go
Into space, man
Intergalactic ChristSpaceman, I always wanted you to go
Into space, man
Intergalactic ChristSpaceman, Spaceman
Spaceman, Spaceman
Spaceman, Spaceman

The Kovenant is a Norwegian band formed in 1992 which has evolved from symphonic black metal to electronic / industrial metal on more recent albums, shaping the style that Lex Icon (aka Nagash, ex-Dimmu Borgir) and Psy Coma (in those days known as Blackheart) coined after the release of "Nexus Polaris": Progressive Space Metal. Originally the band was called Covenant, but due to a dispute with a Swedish futurepop band with the same name, it was later changed to The Kovenant.
