Splinters Lyrics

A cabin built for families, not for one
These fills are solitary, lonely rivers run
Ocean crash duets with cars in canyon pass
Oh, the mountains, majestic force humilityThis coffin's in my shadow, tied to me
There's questions I can't follow, colors I can't see
Days scream past, nights are long in city escape
From sunset to mourning mocks eternityFalling, falling
This life is in splinters
And hands over eyes protect innocent blinding
Falling, falling
Balance in broken, a lifetime of choking
Leaves you blue
Leaves you blue
Leaves you blueThis isolation chamber, disguised but true
Enough to kill this stranger, nothing left to do
Freedom's lost it's clarity and breathing comes fast
This escape is essential to live another dayFalling, falling
This life is in splinters

And hands over eyes protect innocent blinding
Falling, falling
Balance in broken, a lifetime of choking
Leaves you blue
Leaves you blue
Leaves you blueFalling, falling
This life is in splinters
And hands over eyes protect innocent blinding
Falling, falling
Balance in broken, a lifetime of choking
Leaves you blue
The balance in broken
Leaves you blue

There are at least two bands by the name of Sparta. 1. An American alternative rock band active in the 2000's
2. A British metal band active in the 1980's
1. Sparta is an alternative rock band which formed in El Paso, Texas in 2001. The band originally consisted of Jim Ward (vocals), Paul Hinojos (guitar) and Tony Hajjar (drums), all former members of At the Drive-In. After a brief stint with Erick Sanger, the three of them recruited Matt Miller, an El Paso native and then-bassist of Belknap to become the band's permanent bassist.
