Spy Vs Spy Lyrics

(will birch/gordon russell)I'm checking on you
You're checking on me
The moment we walk out the door
We're battered and blue
I'm reckoning we
Don't trust each other no moreLife is a riot
With spy vs spy
No peace and quiet
There's not a dry eye
In the house where we live
Life is a riot
With spy vs spyYou're running around
You're going outside
Trying to catch me with some blonde
I'm moving uptown
I'm ready to ride
Hey not so fast mrs bondLife is a riot
With spy vs spy

No peace and quiet
There's not a dry eye
In the house where we live
Life is a riot
With spy vs spy
Life is a riot
With spy vs spy- guitar solo -We're looking for leads
We're searching for clues
We're looking for anything
That we can use, yeahI'm checking on you
You're checking on me
The moment we walk out the door
We're battered and blue
I'm reckoning we
Don't trust each other no moreLife is a riot
With spy vs spy
No peace and quiet
There's not a dry eye
In the house where we live
Life is a riot
With spy vs spy
Life is a riot
With spy vs spy
Life is a riot
With spy vs spy
Life is a riot
With spy vs spy

Dr. Feelgood are a British pub rock band, formed in 1971. The classic line-up included Lee Brilleaux (b. 1953, d. 7 April 1994; vocals/harmonica), Wilko Johnson (b. John Wilkinson, 1947; guitar), John B. Sparks (b. 1953; bass) and John 'The Big Figure' Martin (drums). Initially based in Canvey Island, Essex, on the Thames estuary, Dr. Feelgood broke into the London circuit in 1974. Brilleaux's menacing personality complemented Johnson's propulsive, jerky stage manner, while the guitarist's staccato style dominated the group's idiosyncratic brand of angular rhythm and blues.
