Station Lyrics

Was it a dream? I wanna know
I was in the lowland where all the old folks go
I wasn't here, I wasn't home
I was pickin' static up from a broken radioYou just leave me at the station
And you can rest assured
That I'll be back sometime
This time next yearI pack my bag, you get the door
Here's a stack of tokens for my friends on Baltimore
The look on your face, I've seen it before
I'll be gone a long time but I could be gone for moreBut you just leave me at the station
And you can rest assured
That I'll be back sometime
This time next yearYou just leave me at the station
And you can rest assured
That I'll be back sometime
This time next yearYou know, I need someone
I need something
I need to go back home

Although typically introduced in 2007, Fabrics were formed in 2006, making their debut at the 6th annual “Another Fine Project” electronic music festival in Thessaloniki (as ed209 & spinnet, back then). The duo’s foray in electronic music began with mangling loops and deconstructing beats and continued with the release of two EPs the following years, along with several tracks in various compilations.
