El Chupacabra is a deathmetal band, highly influenced by technical and melodic metal and some touches of deathcore. Blast beats like machine guns, incredible shredding and trembling breakdowns are just some of the many aspects loved by fans of El Chupacabra. Its diverse songwriting; odd-time technical madness, solo’s with dozens of harmonic guitar lines, steady trashy songs or melodic headbangers, have never left anyone disappointed at an El Chupacabra show.

El Chupacabra’s dreadfull deathmetal domination started in the late 2009, when their first ever show at De Pul (Uden, the Netherlands), left the audience maimed and dazzled. From this day forth El Chupacabra unleashed its metal fury over clubs and local venue’s, and even crushed its enemies at the band competition Stoepslag 2010, where they won first price. From this price the band recorded its first demo cd, which was released by the band at the end of 2010.

Over the course of the year and later on, El Chupacabra landed shows on bigger stages, like the Knipoog Pure Rock Festival, and played with bigger names, like Dutch black/death pioneers God Dethroned. The sound progresses more and more, each song as solid as the next.

In early 2013, the band released an EP called ''Fiesta De La Matanza''. It's free to download from their website www.elchupacabra.nl.
