Stereotypes of a Blue Collar Male Lyrics

22 with nothing to do but spend my hard earned money on you so I will
Yes I will, yes I will, yes I surely will
Church and stuff church and stuff
I never thought god would call my bluff but he did
Yes he did, yes he god damn didWell selling my clothes ain't that bad
I never liked them anyway
Well surely tomorrow I will get my pay
Come back a-looking for another way
But nobody knows what I'm looking for
Nobody knows what I'm looking for
Maybe we can find it on channel 4
So turn it up loud
Turkey time, turkey time
Come meet my family you'll be just fine
Yes you will, yes you will
Yes you will, yes you god damn will
You and me you and me
Climbin out the window up the family tree

Just to look
Just to look
Just to fuckin lookWell selling my clothes ain't that bad
I never liked them anyway
Well surely tomorrow I will get my pay
Come back a-looking for another way
But nobody knows what I'm looking for
Nobody knows what I'm looking for
Maybe we can find it on channel 4
So turn it up loud
So, 23 with nothing but me
How am I supposed to get to sleep without you
Without you
Without fucking youI went to church and stuff
Church and stuff
I didn't think God would call my bluff but he did
Yes he did
Yes he god damn didWell selling my clothes ain't that bad
I never liked them anyway
Well surely tomorrow I will get my pay
Come back a-looking for another way
But nobody knows what I'm looking for
Nobody knows what I'm looking for
Maybe we can find it on channel 4
So turn it up loud

As Shakey Graves, Rose-Garcia from Austin, Texas, He plays a gnarly composite of blues and folk as a one-man-band of epic sonic proportions. The sound emitted from his hollow body guitar, mildly distorted amp and suitcase drum belie the young singer’s lean frame. He fingerpicks while keeping time with a double-pedal kick drum, hitting a snare fitted into his suitcase drum and a tambourine fashioned to its side. And when he sings, Rose-Garcia unleashes an unearthly howl.
