Still Running Lyrics

Say it, say it, say itAlong, you support, then embrace
Another reason to see
Success, we unfold, clutching firm
Betting he panics for sureSay it, say it, that it's done
I want it, want it, need it done
Say it, say it, that it's done
I want it, want it, need it doneThe lie wants to know
Has it met expectations so farSay it, say it, that it's done
I want it, want it, need it done
Say it, say it, that it's done
I want it, want it, need it doneStill running, never waking up to say it
Still running, never waking up to say it
Still running, never waking up to say itSelfishly walking through
Killing the angles
Picking and choosing
To screw all of us one by oneSo run, make amends
Feeling torn
Boy, you better be sure

SureStill running, never waking up to say it
Still running, never waking up to say it
Still running, never waking up to say it
Still running, still running
Still running, still runningSay it, say it, that it's done
I want it, want it, need it done
Say it, say it, that it's done
I want it, want it, need it done

Dottie Peoples is an American gospel singer. Peoples was born in Dayton, Ohio and began singing at an early age. After completing high school, she was given the opportunity to tour with gospel pioneer Dorothy Norwood, a member of The Caravans. From there, Peoples briefly joined a jazz ensemble, performing in various venues across the country. Peoples soon realized that singing secular music was not what she was called to do; she relocated to Atlanta and returned to her gospel roots.
