Stop Me Lyrics

I told you not to make me mad please
When I get mad you wouldn't like me
I turn into some kind of a monster
Go out to the bar and I do bad things
Now I'm outta control
I know
There's gon' be casualties
And when I get goin'
Let them know
You're the only who can stop me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me (Help, help)
When I fall I need you around me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)

Step on the floor I end up falling
I try to resist
Confusion calls me
When I get like this you wouldn't know me
Nobody moves
Won't hurt nobody
Now I'm outta control
I know
There's gon' be casualties
And when I get goin'
Let them know
You're the only who can stop me, stop me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me, stop me (Help, help)
When I fall I need you around me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stand up I end up falling
I hear confusion calling
Can't stop once I get started
You are the only one
Now I'm outta control
I know
There's gon' be casualties
And when I get goin'
Let them know
You're the only who can stop me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me, stop me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me, stop me (Help, help)
When I fall I need you around me (Help, help)
You're the only who can stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)
Stop me (Help, help)

In November 1957, the British music magazine, NME, reported that Steele's manager, Larry Parnes had signed up Hicks, and that Hicks would undertake a ten week variety tour with Marty Wilde.[1] In March the following year, the same source stated that Hicks and Wilde were fulfilling contracted dates, left after Terry Dene had been diagnosed as unfit to continue touring.[2] In 1958 they had some television appearances, and a recording contract with Pye Records, and released a few singles with the label. However, he did not achieve the same level of success as his brother.
