Strange Changes Lyrics

On a da-rk, foggy night, like tonight, long ago
She promised me her love, for-ever strong.
There she is, with someone else; who is he? I don’t know,
There’s some stra-nge changes, goin’ on.
Now I wa-tch as they meet, not by chance, but by choice,
And I fe-el a feelin’, I’ve never known.
In the sti-ll of the night, I can hear, her laughing voice,
There’s some stra-nge changes, goin’ on.
(musical break)
Though she’s gone, I will ne-ver, forget, the things we’ve done,
She’s been a part of me, for oh so long.
I still li-ve in a world, uh made for two, but now there’s one,
There’s some stra-nge changes, goin’ on.
There’s some stra-nge changes, goin’ on.

Classics IV was a pop rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, in 1965. The seeds of what was to become The Classics IV were sown in Jacksonville, Florida in the early 1960s when a young drummer named Dennis Yost joined some high school classmates in a band called "The Echoes". By 1965, he had moved on to form a another group with James Cobb, Wally Eaton, and Joe Wilson, calling themselves "The Classics". Wilson was eventually replaced in the group by Dean Daughtry.
