Strong (Loston Rework) Lyrics

Excuse me for a while
While I'm wide-eyed
And I'm so down caught in the middle
I've excused you for a while
While I'm wide-eyed
And I'm so down caught in the middleAnd a lion, a lion, roars would you not listen?
If a child, a child cries would you not forgive them?Yeah, I might seem so strong
Yeah, I might speak so long
I've never been so wrong
I might seem so strong
Yeah, I might speak so long
I've never been so wrongExcuse me for a while,
Turn a blind eye
With a stare caught right in the middle
Have you wondered for a while
I have a feeling deep down?
You're caught in the middleIf a lion, a lion roars would you not listen?
If a child, a child cries would you not forgive them?Yeah, I might seem so strong

Yeah, I might speak so long
I've never been so wrong
I might seem so strong
Yeah, I might speak so long
I've never been so wrongExcuse me for a while
While I'm wide-eyed
And I'm so down caught in the middle
Have you wondered for a while
I have a feeling deep down?
You're caught in the middleYeah, I might seem so strong
Yeah, I might speak so long
I've never been so wrong
I might seem so strong
Yeah, I might speak so long
I've never been so wrong

Singer Hannah Reid and guitarist Dan Rothman met in the dorms of Nottingham University where they began writing music together in 2009. They later added multi-instrumentalist Dot Major to complete the London Grammar line-up. Their popularity rose with the 2012 release of "Hey Now" which they uploaded to the internet and instantly found an online cult following. Their self-released 2013 debut EP "Metal & Dust" reached the Top 5 of the iTunes chart. The same year they signed to Ministry of Sound and the single "Wasting My Young Years" appeared as the first release on the label.
