Stumbling Lyrics

Say your last goodbyes
And she stops and she waits 'cause she needs you
And your failing eyes to get her through the night
Do you still remember the way she looked at you?
And smiled right through a lie
She was turning to say goodbye
And I felt so far away from
As I stumble over you, I felt so far away
But this is the chance we waited for
And I feel so far away from
As I stumble over you, stumble over
Another thousand miles
And you stop and you wait 'cause you need her
And her failing eyes to get you through the night
Will she remember every word you said
True words will make it right
As you were turning to say goodbye
And I felt so far away from

As I stumble over you, I felt so far away
But this is the chance we waited for
And I feel so far away from
As I stumble over you, stumble over
This is the chance we waited for
This is the chance we waited for
[Incomprehensible]Settle down, lock the doors and turn out all the lights
You close your eyes and fall asleep
You're closing the door when she needs you
And I feel so far away from
She's moving the floor that's beneath you
As I stumble over you
You're closing the door when she needs you
She's moving the floor that's beneath you constantly
But you're not close enough to her
