Summertime Lyrics

I've got my headphones and my flip flops on
My arms are in the air to my favorite song
I've got my cute sun glasses and my cut off jeans
School's out for summer and you know what that means
Last year I caught my first wave
This year I could be that brave
Can't believe it's graduation day
Summertime can't come faster
Sunshine's what I'm after
First kiss, near disaster
Party time, nothing matters
Life's just buried treasure
Just one big adventure
Waiting for me and my summertime {hey, hey, hey}
See that cute lifeguard
Yeah, I know I'm a flirt
Tell all my girlfriends
'Back off cause I saw him first'

He don't remember
It was this time last year
When he ignored me
Wish I could disappear
But now he's looking back at me
I wanna scream 'Hey girls just look at me!'
Today is graduation day
Summertime can't come faster
Sunshine's what I'm after
First kiss, near disaster
Party time, nothing matters
Life's just buried treasure
Just one big adventure
Waiting for me and my summertime, summertime
Summertime can't come faster
Sunshine's what I'm after
First kiss, near disaster
Party time, nothing matters
Summertime can't come faster
Sunshine's what I'm after
First kiss, near disaster
Party time, nothing matters
Life's just buried treasure
Just one big adventure
Waiting for me and my summertime
Summertime can't come faster
Sunshine's what I'm after
First kiss, near disaster
Party time, nothing matters
Summertime can't come faster
Sunshine's what I'm after
First kiss [fades out]

At the tender age of just 18, Tiffany Giardina is a talent to watch.

Following an adolescence dedicated to music and the development of her vocal skills, songwriting and stage presence, this young woman is poised to break wide, already recognized by superstar Lady Gaga’s personal vocal coach who is now mentoring Tiffany Giardina to become the next great female pop artist.

Despite her youth, Tiffany has already accomplished far more than many industry veterans twice her age.

At 16, Tiffany shared the stage with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, performing in front more than 18,000 fans at the 2010 Pop-Con in Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum. Hits Magazine stated “With a strong presence and an impressive style, Tiffany commanded the stage…We’re baffled as to why this amazingly talented artist is yet to be signed, but we can safely assume it’s just a matter of time…” The consensus of the critics was that Tiffany was the strongest female vocalist performing at Pop-Con.

Tiffany’s single “Hurry Up and Save Me”, released in 2008, has since sold over 200,000 digital downloads and is still going strong with its YouTube video being seen over 1 million times. That, along with another original tune “No Average Angel”, was featured on the soundtrack of the popular TV Film “Another Cinderella Story” featuring Selena Gomez and Drew Seeley. In December of 2010, Tiffany’s second single, “I’m Not Crazy”, was instantly added into Radio Disney’s rotation and quickly landed on the network’s Top 30 Countdown.

Brands have been quick to embrace Tiffany, too. Mattel enlisted her to arrange and record the theme song for their animated Barbie movie, A Fashion Fairytale. The music video for “Life is a Fairytale”, released this past September, has already surpassed 500,000 YouTube viewings. Mattel has now asked Tiffany for an encore performance with their newest Barbie vehicle, “The Princess and the Pop Star.” She will provide five songs for the film’s soundtrack and Mattel will produce a special-edition Barbie Doll in Tiffany’s likeness. Mattel plans to put several million copies of The Princess and the Pop Star into DVD distribution in the fall of this year.

Currently, the young singer/songwriter is working on a new independent release with a variety of top shelf New York-based producers. She has already written and published over 30 songs with BMI and has recently signed on with The Abrams Agency to represent her for film, television and Broadway.

And yes, she’s only 18 years old.
