Sweet Sweet Lovin' Lyrics

(peter staines)Cold light dawning
Something ain't right
Funny kinda feelin'
Bad dream last nightSomeone's got a voodoo doll
Stickin' needles into me
Temporary blindness
Means that I can't seeSweet sweet lovin'
Sweet sweet lovin'
Gone sour on meSeems like I'm in heaven
When I first closed my eyes
Don't care about the future
If I'll live or diePut your arms around me
The kiss of death
Lyin' here in ecstacy
On a cold death bedSweet sweet lovin'
Sweet sweet lovin'
Gone sour on meSweet sweet lovin'
Sweet sweet lovin'

Gone sour on me- guitar solo -Toss and turn when the lights go out
More bad dreams since you walked out
I can't seem to face the future without youSweet sweet lovin'
Sweet sweet lovin'Sweet sweet lovin'
Sweet sweet lovin'
Gone sour on meSomeone's got a voodoo doll
Stickin' needles into me
Temporary blindness
Means that I can't seeSweet sweet lovin'
Sweet sweet lovin'
Gone sour on meSweet sweet lovin'
Sweet sweet lovin'
Gone sour on meSweet sweet lovin'
Sweet sweet lovin'
Gone sour on me

Dr. Feelgood are a British pub rock band, formed in 1971. The classic line-up included Lee Brilleaux (b. 1953, d. 7 April 1994; vocals/harmonica), Wilko Johnson (b. John Wilkinson, 1947; guitar), John B. Sparks (b. 1953; bass) and John 'The Big Figure' Martin (drums). Initially based in Canvey Island, Essex, on the Thames estuary, Dr. Feelgood broke into the London circuit in 1974. Brilleaux's menacing personality complemented Johnson's propulsive, jerky stage manner, while the guitarist's staccato style dominated the group's idiosyncratic brand of angular rhythm and blues.
