Symbols Lyrics

How come your symbols of freedom only restrict?
How come your symbols of pride to me ain't worth nothing?
How come your symbols of freedom only restrict?
How come your symbols of pride to me ain't worth nothing? How come your symbols of freedom only restrict?
How come your symbols of pride to me ain't worth nothing?
How come your symbols of freedom only restrict?
How come your symbols of pride to me ain't worth nothing? What better way to oppress us than to make us the same?
To make us nod in approval to the limits we created
Our freedom, our bill of rights, just assurance to make us abide
To make us serve their purposes and to serve our timeI will destroy a system that is built on greed
I will destroy tradition that make us bleed
I will shut down the power of all who lied to me
I will defy their image of what they wan't me to beI will destroy a system that is built on greed
I will destroy tradition that make us bleed
I will shut down the power of those who lied to me
I will defy their image of what they wan't me to beYour freedom, nothing
Your symbols, your freedom, your lies, your liesHow come your symbols of freedom only restrict?
How come your symbols of pride to me ain't worth nothing?

How come your symbols of freedom only restrict?
How come your symbols of pride to me ain't worth nothing?

1. Parricide is a brutal death-grind band from Poland. Characteristic with very downtuned guitars and aggressive drums-often blast beat and really raw dual kick drums. 2. There was also another Parricide from Rhode Island, USA, who released a 4 song mini-CD entitled 'A Future of Suffering' in 1995. The line-up had just 2 members, Bob on guitar, bass, vocals and programming and Bill also on guitar. They played an energetic, vitriolic deah/thrash style of heavy metal. 3. Parricide is death/thrash metal band from Tuzla formed in 1990.
