There may be several artists operating as "The Extremist." 1: a dark electronic project originated in Philadelphia. From The Extremist's website: "in a time before the towers fell, it began with kennneth, a headphone amp and a television. progressed to a guitar and a talkboy, then came matt stevenson, who showed an interest in these grating challenges to the ear. after taking kennneth under his wing and giving him a keyboard, he added his own musical bent to the project, playing some keyboards, recording and producing.
