Tanaka Rie - Ningyo Hime (Chobits/Чобиты) - 田中理恵

Rie Tanaka (田中理恵, born January 3, 1979), is a Japanese voice actress and occasional singer. She was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Her debut as a singer came in 1998, when she won the grand prix in the Vocalist audition held by Media Works and Scitronsang, and got the chance to perfor the song "永遠の親友" featured in the Playstation game Yukyu Gensokyoku. A year later she released two drama CDs, which included some songs and demos. Her first full-lenght album entitled Garnet was released in 2001, and included several anime insert songs that she had performed at that time.
