Thank You Lyrics

These days it seems as though I've lived a lonely life time
Because I never had a girl like you to hold me tight
And since you came around and you showed your world to me
I'm beginning to think that I'll never be blue againNow that you're in my life, you are my brightest day
When you came, you chased my blues away
And you know you're all that I been waitin' on, yeah
And all the stars I wish uponYeah, and so I said, "Thank you, yeah, for being there"
Because you and me are gonna be alright
So thank you, yeah, for lovin' me long
Because you and me are gonna be alrightWell, anytime or day, you wreck my bed
Since the words you spoke go round my head
And you know you're all that I been waiting for
Yeah, you're the queen of all my dreamsAnd so I said, "Thank you, yeah, for being there"
Because you and me are gonna be alrightI'm on my knees, it's days like these
When all I see is you and meThese days it seems as though I've lived a lonely life time
Because I never had a girl like you to hold me tight
And since you come around and you showed your world to me
I'm beginning to think that I'll never be blue anymore, ohNow that you're in my life, you are my brightest day

Since you came, you chased my blues away
And you know you're all that I been waitin' on
Yeah, and all the stars I wish upon
Wish your way, [Incomprehensible]I said, "Thank you, oh, for being there"
Yeah, because you and me had always been alright
So thank you for loving me like you did before
'Cause you and me are gonna be alright

The Redwalls are a rock band from Deerfield, Illinois. Highly influenced by The Beatles and Bob Dylan, their first two albums, Universal Blues and De Nova, reflect a hard-edged, youthful throwback to 1960s rock and roll.
Comprised of the brothers Logan and Justin Baren and longtime friend Andrew Langer, they grew up in the same Deerfield neighborhood. The Redwalls brought on drummer Ben Greeno after their initial drummer, Jordan Kozer, decided to attend college at DePaul. They signed with Capitol Records in 2003 and released De Nova in June 2005.
