The Air That I Breathe Lyrics

If I could make a wish, I think I pass
Can't think of any thing I need
No cigarettes, no sleep
No light, no sound
Nothing to eat, no books to readMaking love with you
Has left me peaceful
Warm and tired
What more could I ask?
There's nothing left to be desiredSometimes, all I need is the
Air that I breath and to love you
All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you
(How, I love you)
All I need is the air that I breathePeace came upon me
And it leaves me weak
Sleep silent angel
Go to sleepSometimes, all I need is the
Air that I breathe and to love you

All I need is the air that I breathe
Yes to love you
(Yes to love you)
All I need is the air that I breatheAll I need is the air that I breathe
All I need is the air that I breathe

Several well-known entertainers have given Manilow their "stamp of approval," including Sinatra, who was quoted in the 1970s regarding Manilow, "He's next." In 1988, Bob Dylan stopped Manilow at a party, hugged him and said, "Don't stop what you're doing, man. We're all inspired by you."

As well as producing and arranging albums for other artists, such as Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick, Manilow has written songs for musicals, films, and commercials.
