The Blackout Lyrics

(verse)
its cold! why arent the embers falling from the stars? i can see your face, so why arent you with me in my arms?
im becoming numb, i can barely hold up my own hand.
but i can still feel you here, while the world begins to fall apart.
while the world begins to fall
(chorus)
and youll scream my name up to the sky
as you watch the tide come wash away the night
and youll scream my name up to the sky
as you watch the tide come wash away the night
and well make our way out of this mess
(verse 2)
my pulse slows, as my eyes begin to close
theres a fire inside this beating heart
but it only beats for you
ashes fill my lungs, cant you taste them on your tongue
watch the light wash away

ill be holding on and its all for love
(chorus)
and youll scream my name up to the sky
as you watch the tide come wash away the night
and youll scream my name up to the sky
as you watch the tide come wash away the night
and well make our way out of this mess
and youll scream my name up to the sky
as you watch the tide come wash away the night
and youll scream my name up to the sky
as you watch the tide come wash away the night
and well make our way out of this mess
while the world begins to fall

There are at least three bands named Ligeia:
1. A metalcore band from Massachusetts, USA
2. A female fronted traditional metal band from Ulm, Germany.
3. A death metal band from the USA (Kansas City, Missouri), formerly called Nepenthe, and now split-up.
1) The Massachusetts Ligeia was formed in late 2003 by Keith Holuk (vocals), (former member) Phil Fonseca (drums) and Ryan Ober (guitar). With the addition of bassist (former member) Matthew Bennett, and guitar player Chris Keane in late 2004 / early 2005 completed this young band lineup and perfected their already devastating sound.
