The End of the Winter Lethargy Lyrics

We create our world, love and other disasters
To protect own possessions - this paranoia is so strong
Some day you'll hear there's something wrong with me
The winter is dead, I said the winter is dead
Mother, Father! I've broken the rules
The winter is dead. Come on, the winter is dead!
I have to leave the past. I'll change it, I wanna it
And find my way inside. I'll change it, I wanna it
And I remember, I was mesmerised
Craving for everything, great need to control and
I'm not your God, to annihilate
Sound of the lovely past - say, loud - Goodbye.
Run away, run away!
There is so much sorrow teeming inside. I didn't lie, I got lost inside

There is so much sadness for the passed time
Large and consumer world, but I'm still alive
And everyone tried to keep for themselves
And everyone tried to bring me back
They tried to ask, they even knew what to ask
I never said, it was my path
They tried to set me on fire, they called a coward and liar
I was confused and reserved, but not afraid
If something forges you to leave the rest of the group
Remember winter is dead - say - loud!
Winter's dead, the winter's dead I see myself and all the rest
Madness is gone, so hold my hand because I'm begging for the winter's end
Winter's dead, the winter's dead, so hard I'm begging for the miraculous way
Stop the time, when the sun shines, because I'm begging
Cause the winter will never come back

Retrospective is a progressive rock band formed in 2005, in Leszno, Poland. It started off with Robert Kusik (drums) and Maciej Klimek (guitars). Although two wasn't enough, they started their search for members to their band. Shortly after, Alan Szczepaniak (guitars), a friend from the Klimek's neighbourhood, was introduced to the band on one of the practice sessions. His skills and passion to unconventional playing earned him a way in.
