The Furnace Sun Lyrics

You said, "I dont care where you equalize your thoughts
And I dont mind where you go as time goes awry
Every time I dont care where you go and what you do and I dont mind
Hey, dont know if Ill even be alive in ten years time, alright"Where are you now trying to beat the furnace sun
Its a simple taste, a simple race
Time is all weve got, got to play this town
Youve got to play this town againTime is all weve got here, time is fading heavy
Leaves are turning golden blue and Im not that readyWhere are you now?
(Trying to beat the furnace sun)
Where are you now?
(I got to play this town)

Preston School of Industry is a Seattle indie rock band formed by Scott Kannberg (aka Spiral Stairs) in 1999, following the dissolution of his previous band, Pavement. In 2001, Preston School of Industry released All This Sounds Gas, which was recorded mainly in Stockton, California. The album is said to be comprised of the songs that were rejected by Pavement on their final album, Terror Twilight. The band released its second album, Monsoon, in 2004, with studio contributions from members of The Minus 5 and Wilco.
