The Itchy Glowbo Blow Lyrics

Still steppin' over me
Little, he needs
Little, you may needAnd you know how sometimes
When your face gives right in to him
You've chosen your life for your man, yea
And look at your goals
Standing at his feet
Standing he flailedBut you're glad he cares
But you're glad heAnd you died sometimes
When your face [incomprehensible]
You've chosen your life for your man, yea
For him, for yourself
Futile in love
Futile is this feverAnd you died, did I see dark lines?
So, whether have you got
Futile in love
Futile is this feverThe spirit of life fires me now
The spirit of life fires me now

The spirit of life fires me now
The spirit of life fires me

Cocteau Twins were an innovative and influential Scottish dream pop band. Forming in 1979 in Grangemouth, Scotland, UK (the name taken from an obscure song by fellow Scots Simple Minds), they built a sound based on woozy atmospherics and singer Elizabeth Fraser's unmatchable vocals, most of which featured lyrics of made-up words and words plucked at random from the dictionary. Their first release was "Garlands" in 1982 on 4AD Records, which was received well. Founding member Will Heggie left the group in 1983 and soon joined fellow Grangemouth band Lowlife.
