Monkeys With Tools was a crossover band from Duesseldorf, Germany during the 90s.
Band members were
Petrus Fischer (dr, voc)
Grischa Bender (git, voc) and
Matty Rouse (b).
Additional musicians were producer "Herr Bert" (mixing, FX) and Dietzy Fischer (tromb.)
They played a fresh mix of Metal, Punk, Funk and Ragga - and all these elements were present in almost every song. A small "hit" in certain local clubs has been "Ratatata"...
