The Last Duet (with Lily Tomlin) [Remastered] Lyrics

MmmYou creep into my heart
And make my heart burn
You sneak into my mind
And make my head acheThere are things I long to tell you
You're much too blonde
You snore
Look it's time to face the musicBye bye, don't slam the door
And I don't want, I don't want
I don't want, I don't want
No, I don't want your flowers anymoreThis is the last duet
Last chance you're gonna get
No more ha-harmony
For you and meThis is the final song
And when the music' through
This is the last duet
I'll ever do with youYou're not the one that I want
Ohh ohh ohh tood-le-oo, honey
Don't go breakin' my back

Don't call me, I'll call youBack together, reunited
Should feel so good, they say
So I hope there's no hard feelings
Don't go away mad, just go away'Cause enough is enough
Is enough, is enough
Too much too little too late
Tonight, tonight, with you I'm bored againThis is the last duet
Last chance you're gonna get
No more ha harmony
For you and meThis is the final song
And when the music's through
This is the last duet
I'll ever do with youThis is the last duet
Last chance you're gonna get
No more ha harmony
For you and meThis is the final song
And when the music' through
This is the last duet
I'll ever do, I'll ever do
I'll never never never never never do
With you

Several well-known entertainers have given Manilow their "stamp of approval," including Sinatra, who was quoted in the 1970s regarding Manilow, "He's next." In 1988, Bob Dylan stopped Manilow at a party, hugged him and said, "Don't stop what you're doing, man. We're all inspired by you."

As well as producing and arranging albums for other artists, such as Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick, Manilow has written songs for musicals, films, and commercials.
