The Long Road to the Middle Lyrics

Is there nothing sacred anymore?
anymoreRaise your head and say
Well done Well done Well doneBefore they put you in a casket
So you know that you were worth it
Before they put you in a casket
So you know that you were worth itTry keeping something to yourself for a change
Said the boy who cried wolf, "So you don't end up like me"Sex, drugs, and rock & roll never looked so good
Said the best fifteen minutes of your life
to the future nine to five forty something family manRaise your head and say
Well done Well done Well doneRaise your head and say
Well done Well done Well doneHow much do we lose? How much is gained?
How much do we lose? How much is gained? How much do we lose? How much is gained?
How much do we lose? How much is gained?Try keeping something to yourself for a change
Try keeping something to yourself for a changeHow did you spend your fifteen minutes?
Fifteenth minute.

Fear Before the March of Flames (now known as Fear Before) is an experimental/rock band that formed in Aurora, Colorado in 2002. Their initial sound carried out on their first two records was closer to a melding of screamo, hardcore, and metalcore, drawing influence from the likes of Converge, The Blood Brothers, and Botch. Some even considered them during this time period to be mathcore because of their technical riffs and song structure.
