The Loop Lyrics

Try to picture yourself on the world
In the world within the universe
Spinning
You were here don't let life push you out
In the end what's going on up there? It's bigger
It's okay if we're afraid
When the light begins to fade
Darkness, takes over
And it all was here before
And we'll all be here some more
Goes up, and then down
Maybe we're dead
Maybe it's paradise
Maybe we're saved
And just haven't realized
What we know is we don't know
Is any of this happening?
At least it got close

At least we got closeEven if it's an imagined state
And we're acting in a foreign film
It's better
Never having had those echo dreams
Rip them back into our conscious nerves
Forever
It's okay if we're afraid
When the light begins to fade
Darkness, takes over
And it all was here before
And we'll all be here some more
Goes up, and then downFind a way
Find a way back and remember it when we're doing it again
On my paint underneath of the look
On repeat, and not even a lookMaybe we're dead
Maybe it's paradise
Maybe we're saved
And just haven't realized
What we know is we don't know
Is any of this happening?
At least it got close
At least we got closeMaybe we're dead
Maybe it's paradise
Maybe we're saved
And just haven't realized
What we know is we don't know
Is any of this happening?
At least it got close
At least we got close

Deptford Goth is the stage name of British experimental pop producer, singer and ethereal and spectral R&B artist Daniel Woolhouse from Peckham, Southeast London, UK. Woolhouse started under that name in late 2010, when he decided to fuse his songwriting roots in guitar and piano with a more electronic approach. Describing his music as „sitting somewhere between real and synthetic“, the art school graduate debuted in late 2010 with the single Real Love Fantasy, which set electronically tweaked vocals adrift on blurry synths and a spare beat.
