The Man Who Played God Lyrics

Think about the world you know
Now think of where it wants to goAll things you can see around you
You can change them
Rearrange them in your mindIf you've heard tales of transformation
Now then one two three,
You could be the man who played godHammer it until it breaks
To every shape that nature makesAll things you can see around you
You can change them
Rearrange them in your mindIf you heard tales of transformation
Well then one two three
You could be the man who played godThe girl becomes a bird on a flower
In your state you feel your powerAll things you can see around you
You can change them
Rearrange them in your mindIf you've heard tales of transformation
Well then one two three
You could be the man who played godOne two three, you could be
The man who played god
One two three, you could be

The man who played god
One two three, you could be
The man who played god

Suzanne Vega is an American singer-songwriter noted for her eclectic folk-inspired music. She was born Suzanne Nadine Vega on 11 July 1959, in Santa Monica, California, but has lived most of her life in New York City. There, she attended the High School of the Performing Arts (the school seen in the feature film musical Fame), where she studied modern dance. Vega realized that her talent in dance was not sufficient to make her living doing it.
