The One That Got Away Lyrics

So you have finally made up your mind
Take one last look at who you're leave behind
We lost the ending, we were too late
But we took time enough to devastateWhen people never say things
They lead themselves astrayOh oh oh
The one that got away
Gave me everything I never had
Oh oh
The one that got away
Gave me everything I neverI had no problems you had no doubts
We were the ones they used to talk about
We saw no windows, we had no door
I used to wonder what the shouting's forWhen people never say things
They watch their love decayOh oh oh
The one that got away
Gave me everything, I never hadWhen lovers take it too far
They bow their heads and sayOh oh oh
The one that got away

Gave me everything I never had
Oh oh
The one that got away
Gave me everything I never hadThe one that got away
The one that got away
