The Real You Lyrics

The word 'real' is defined as what really lies inside
You're not the person I once knew
You're not the you that I'm used to
All this wool is buggin' my eyes and I never really realized
Behind that plastic shell, you cannot even tellI can't come in 'cause you won't let me break
Through the mask of who you are
You let down your shield, it's your best defense
It won't break or devastate you, it's really hard
For me to tell you everything
That I want to tell to you
Some say that you never knew the real me
And I'm sure I never knew the real youWanna see real you
I wanna see the real you
Wanna see real you
I wanna see the real you
Wanna see real you
I wanna see the real youConflicting spheres of interest
Pose a threat to who we are

Said where we want to be, we just can't see
So we throw the walls up around ourselvesAnd our visions are dulled and doubtful
You know it's our double standards
That'll wrap us up tight inside ourselves
And never let us outWanna see real you
I wanna see the real you
Wanna see real you
I wanna see the real you
Wanna see real you
I wanna see the real youMotherfucker!
Fucking bitch!
Hypocrite!
Ahh! The real youWanna see real you
I wanna see the real you
Wanna see real you
I wanna see the real you
Wanna see real you
I wanna see the real you
Wanna see real you

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Suicide Machines were a band formed in 1991 in Detroit, Michigan under the original name Jack Kevorkian and the Suicide Machines. The band's original lineup consisted of Jason Navarro on vocals, Dan Lukacinsky on guitar, Jason Brake on bass, and Stefan Rairigh on drums. This lineup lasted a year until Bill Jennings replaced Rairigh, but he was himself soon replaced by Derek Grant. They recorded the band's first demos The Essential Kevorkian and Green World in 1993 and 1994, both released through their own label Sluggo's Old Skool Records.
