The Reflex Lyrics

The reflex
The reflex
The reflex
The reflexYou've gone too far this time
But I'm dancing on the Valentine
I tell you somebody's fooling around
With my chances on the danger lineI'll cross that bridge when I find it
Another day to make my stand, oh woah
High time is no time for deciding
If I should find a helping hand, oh woahWhy don't you use it?
Try not to bruise it
Buy time, don't lose itOh, why don't you use it?
Try not to bruise it
Buy time, don't lose itThe reflex is an only child, who's waiting by the park
The reflex is in charge of finding treasure in the dark
And watching over lucky clover, isn't that bizarre?
And every little thing the reflex does
Leaves you answered with a question markI'm on a ride and I want to get off

But they won't slow down the roundabout
I sold the Renoir and TV set
Don't wanna be around when this gets outSo, why don't you use it?
Try not to bruise it
Buy time, don't lose itWhy don't you use it?The reflex is an only child, he's waiting in the park
The reflex is in charge of finding treasure in the dark
And watching over lucky clover, isn't that bizarre?
And every little thing the reflex does
Leaves an answer with a question mark, playSo, why don't you use it?
Try not to bruise it
Buy time, don't lose itThe reflex is an only child who's waiting by the park
The reflex is in charge of finding treasure in the dark
And watching over lucky clover, isn't that bizarre?
And every little thing the reflex does
Leaves me answered with a question markOh, the reflex, what a game, he's hiding all the cards
The reflex is in charge of finding treasure in the dark

Sitting in a diner in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1954, Todd Storz noticed that a teen-age waitress selected the same song on the jukebox over and over. At that moment, Top 40 radio was born, joining the TV dinner, the Reuben sandwich, the bobby pin, the ski lift, and (some claim) fuzzy dice on the list of famous and infamous inventions from the city that sits atop the Strategic Air Command. Now comes the latest invention, Omaha Diner - four storied musicians attempting to re-define a format that forever perverted the way we experience music.
