The Search for Dark Lake Lyrics

O desire you circle like a drunken bird
Spinning in my lungs just like a song
Just like a song but gone unheardO desire I know you like a phantom limb
Slowly swinging just beyond my will
And I'll be crying, "Just be still, be still, be still, be still."O desire, you flicker brightest in the shadows
Will you find me tangled in a sheet?
Will you find me wandering in place?
Will you take me for a stranger, take me for a ghost
Follow my cold feet into a lake, into a dream, into the dark?
