The Spangle Maker Lyrics

He's the droplets
He's that droplet on my truth [unverified]
He's the spangle
He is that spangle makerOh, for that's
Awful that worked it shattering heads
She is his
She's his spangle baby
And the rest made sure it's the dropletSinging
Broke and winded
Broke and winded
WhistlingSinging
Broke and winded
Broke and winded
WhistlingHe's the droplets
He's that droplet on my truth [unverified]
He's the spangle
He is that spangle maker
And the rest made sure it's the dropletSinging

Broke and winded
Broke and winded
WhistlingSinging
Broke and winded
Broke and winded
WhistlingHe's the droplets
He's that droplet on my truth [unverified]
He's the spangle
He is that spangle maker
And the rest made sure it's the dropletSinging
Broke and winded
Broke and winded
WhistlingSinging
Broke and winded
Broke and winded
WhistlingHe's the droplets
He's that droplet on my truth [unverified]
He's the spangle
He is that spangle makerHis part of the plan, it hadn't gone and there you are
It scattered then, it didn't bond and there you are
Oh, perhaps it's just the droplet singing
Broke and winded, I whistle and there you hideHis part of the plan, it hadn't gone and there you are
It scattered then, it didn't bond and there you are
Oh, perhaps it's just the droplet singing
Broke and winded, I whistle and there you hideHis part of the plan, it hadn't gone and there you are
It scattered then, it didn't bond and there you are
Oh, perhaps it's just the droplet singing
Broke and winded, I whistle and there you hide

Cocteau Twins were an innovative and influential Scottish dream pop band. Forming in 1979 in Grangemouth, Scotland, UK (the name taken from an obscure song by fellow Scots Simple Minds), they built a sound based on woozy atmospherics and singer Elizabeth Fraser's unmatchable vocals, most of which featured lyrics of made-up words and words plucked at random from the dictionary. Their first release was "Garlands" in 1982 on 4AD Records, which was received well. Founding member Will Heggie left the group in 1983 and soon joined fellow Grangemouth band Lowlife.
