Jill Carnes is an Elephant Six-related musician and artist. She was a contributor to the song "The Events Leading Up to the Collapse of Detective Dullight" on Of Montreal's album Coquelicot Asleep in the Poppies: A Variety of Whimsical Verse, as well as with The Music Tapes. She has also toured with the Music Tapes, traveling as far as Toronto and New York's Knitting Factory. In 2003, she self-released her album Lullaby for Worriers as Thimble Circus...
