The Way I Feel Lyrics

See what I'm drivin', I'm back behind the wheel
I'm just a little nervous, somethin' to do with the way I feel
Mmm, with the way I feel, with the way I feelTrouble understandin', nothin' too outta hand
A little overloaded, some kinda storm in the heart of man
Oh, mmm, in the heart of the manI must have heard it somewhere
I can't quite remember that, mmmLook what I've turned into, I'm back inside the car
Traveled in a luxury, a little celebration went a touch too far
Mmm, just a touch too far, just a touch too farI must have passed it somewhere
Mmm, now, I can't quite remember, oh, oh
Oh, but here it comes againThe mirror tries to please me, the image wouldn't stay
The stranger is too perfect, take my breath away
The future rides beside me, tomorrow in his hand
The stranger turns to greet me and take me by the handShame, ooh, ooh, oohLook what I've turned into, I'm back inside the car
We traveled in a luxury, a little celebration went a touch too far
Mmm, just a touch too far, just a touch
And somethin' to do with the way I feel, with the way I feel, oh, oohThe mirror tries to please me, the image wouldn't stay
The stranger is too perfect, take my breath away
The future rides beside me, tomorrow in his hand

The stranger turns to greet me and take me by the handThe mirror tries to please me, the image wouldn't stay
The stranger is too perfect, take my breath away

Robert Anthony Plant CBE (born 20 August 1948, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England) is a British rock singer famous for being the lead vocalist of one of the most influential rock bands of all time: Led Zeppelin. He is known for his powerful style with a wide vocal range. After Led Zeppelin's breakup following the sudden death of drummer John Bonham in 1980, Plant pursued a successful solo career. Popular tracks from this period include "Big Log," "Tall Cool One," and "I Believe." In 1984, Plant formed a short-lived all-star group with Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Phil Collins called The Honeydrippers, who had a Top Ten hit with a remake of the Phil Phillips' tune, "Sea of Love".

Plant's love of the music of Morocco led him to a new collaboration called Robert Plant And The Strange Sensation. The band's releases met with critical acclaim and numerous Grammy nominations. They completed the 2006 tour of Europe in September.

In 2007, Plant began recording and performing with bluegrass star Alison Krauss. A duet album, Raising Sand, was released on 23 October 2007 on Rounder Records. The album, recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by T-Bone Burnett met with enormous critical and commercial success.

The year of 2010 proves to be yet another successful year for the aging lemon squeezer. Durring the summer, Plant will be reuniting with his old, Pre-Zep group, The Band Of Joy, for a tour of the southern and mid continental tour of the US.
