There Is A Light Lyrics

There is a light
Coming from the clouds
I want to see further
Than they'll allow
Go to bed now
They'll be here soon
To bring us all presents
If we were good
And take me where we need to go to find a little snow
Out where the fire logs will need a little spark to grow
And tell me to close my eyes to quickly fall asleep before you know shows
He'll be here soon
And take me where we need to go to find a little snow
Out where the fire logs will need a little spark to grow
And tell me to close my eyes to quickly fall asleep before you know shows
He'll be here soon
There is a light
Still coming from the clouds

I want it to be here
I want it right now
Oh cause I'm sick of the cold
And waiting for tomorrow
And I've been waiting all year, all year
Swear I was good
(oh)
Take me where we need to go to find a little snow
Out where the fire logs will need a little spark to grow
And tell me to close my eyes to quickly fall asleep before you know shows
He'll be here soon
And take me where we need to go to find a little snow
Out where the fire logs will need a little spark to grow
And tell me to close my eyes to quickly fall asleep before you know shows
He'll be here soon
He'll be here soon
And take me where we need to go to find a little snow
Out where the fire logs will need a little spark to grow
And tell me to close my eyes to quickly fall asleep before you know shows
He'll be here soon
And take me where we need to go to find a little snow
Out where the fire logs will need a little spark to grow
And tell me to close me eyes to quickly fall asleep before you know shows
He'll be heye soon
He'll be here soon

A Silver Mt. Zion uses a number of different variations of the name on different releases. A Silver Mt. Zion is a band formed in 1999, in Montreal, Quebec, by Godspeed You! Black Emperor musicians Efrim Menuck, Sophie Trudeau and Thierry Amar. According to an interview with VPRO Radio in The Netherlands, originally the project was for Efrim to learn how to score music, but the idea was soon abandoned as Efrim decided that he preferred music not to be defined by rules, preferring simply what sounds best.
