Things - Peter Brame

Peter Brame is an English singer songwriter and guitarist based in Colchester, Essex. Better known for his energetic and unique interpretations of the pop songs he performed on the second series of BBC's Fame Academy in 2003. His moving performance of self penned song "My Secret Suicide" showed he was much more than just a popstar wannabee.

Unfortunately he blew his chances of getting signed to a major label by going off the rails and dating Fearne Cotton. Since then he has got his act together, regularly performing live and writing and recording his own material. He is currently solo, having split with his former band One Finger Zen.

In 2006 he released his debut single "Wake Up", which was likened to early Primal Scream and Smashing Pumpkins.

His more recent self penned acoustic music is a series of heartfelt melodic numbers with very abstract and honest lyrics. He released a 5 track acoustic download only EP, "Alcoholic's Love Songs" independently in 2007, which was be followed by his debut album "My Secret Suicide" on the 13th of October 2008, which is available to be downloaded from the iTunes store.

He currently has numerous new projects going on, including two new bands - Broken Eyes being one, and the second being currently un-named - and some of the new music can be found on his myspace page:
