This Much Fun Lyrics

When you first said you didn't think
that you could love me any more
I closed my eyes and held my breath
and turned my face towards the floor
You touched my hand and said that maybe
we should separate a while
I hoped that through my sorry look
you didn't see my great big smileI haven't had this much fun in such a long, long time
This much fun could make me lose my mind
I haven't had this much fun at all
Since you put my back to the wall
This much fun in such a long, long timeI kicked around this sleepy town
Just to find there's nothing here
Avoiding traps of being wrapped
Inside of someone else's fear
Gonna rip my shirt and dye my hair
And if they catch me, I don't careI haven't had this much fun in such a long, long time
This much fun could make me lose my mind

I haven't had this much fun at all
Since you tried to get me to crawl
This much fun in such a long, long timeYou said you wanted me
But started bringing me
Down, down, down
Gotta get away, gonna waste away
Hanging round, around the downtownI haven't had this much fun in such a long, long time
This much fun could make a man go blind
I haven't had this much fun at all
And I swear I'm having a ball
This much fun in such a long, long time
So much fun, it ought to be a crime

Cowboy Mouth is a rock band based in New Orleans, Louisiana, taking their name from the title of a Sam Shepard play which got the term from a Bob Dylan song. The nucleus of the band, Fred Leblanc (Drums, Vocals) and John Thomas Griffith (Guitar, Vocals), formed in the early 1990s, and they climbed the ladder from an opening act living in a van to a powerhouse live act that has been called "a religious experience" by more than one music journalist. In particular their 2004 live Lincoln Park, Chicago album "Live From the Zoo" received incredible criticial praise, especially form Rolling Stone.
